K. Slay The Artist is a nail business at Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta, run by a single artist. The menu is entirely nail work: fill-ins and rebalances, natural nail overlays, and several full-set styles built in acrylic with gel or regular polish, ombre, sculpted, glitter and bling finishes.
Prices run from $50 for a fill-in (rebalance) to $150 for the most elaborate Go Crazy Creativity full set, with the Full Bling Set at $130 and the Sculpted Fullset at $100. Fill-ins on long, XL and XXL nails carry a $10 surcharge. Sessions run from 2 hours for the simpler services to 3 hours for the bling and creative sets, and traveling services are priced at $250 for a single client.
Booking requires a $22 deposit, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Of that, $20 goes toward the service and $2 is a convenience fee. The remaining balance is paid at the appointment in cash or through Cash App. Deposits are returned only when the artist has to reschedule because of circumstances beyond their control.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late incurs a $10 fee, and after 20 minutes the artist decides whether to go ahead or move the appointment, which costs an extra $20 to reschedule. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise the full service is charged, and rebooking after a cancellation requires a new deposit. Children and extra guests are not permitted unless they are receiving a service themselves.
