Stylists work as a team and share knowledge with each other and with clients. The salon says leading talent is the foundation of the business and that it supports continuing education with industry educators. Stylists progress through levels from Studio to Elite Master. Studio stylists are new to the industry or to the salon, Junior stylists are building their clientele, Senior stylists are the most in-demand at a mid-level price, Master stylists have specialized through experience and teach in the apprentice program, and Elite Master stylists have been with the salon for at least ten years and complete advanced education. Pricing follows stylist level and hair needs, and personalized ranges are available by phone.

A typical haircut takes about 45 minutes to an hour and includes a shampoo, cut and blowout. Color visits begin with a consultation on hair history and goals. New color clients need a complimentary consultation before their first appointment, and the salon offers corrective consultations for hair damaged by at-home box dye. Transformational color may take two to three visits. Clients are asked to have hair washed the day before, without dry shampoo or heavy products.

Beyond cut and color, the salon offers Aveda botanical treatments, Pro treatments, keratin and permanent wave services, and Evolve extensions and volumizers. Ultraceuticals facials are available with customized plans, typically a recommended series of three treatments, and the salon describes them as medispa-grade. Men are served at all locations for grey blending, precision fades and beard trims.

Ventura Plaza (210.403.0955) and Alamo Heights (210.798.3383) both open Tuesday from 9am to 4pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and are closed Sunday and Monday. Appointments can be booked online or by phone, though online requests stay pending until confirmed. Color appointments can be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours' notice. Gift cards are sold at either location or online, and children may attend only when they are also receiving a service. Ventura Plaza has parking in front of the salon.

Works with Aveda's natural, plant-based products and has been part of the organic movement since it opened. Stylists pool their knowledge and consult each other on looks.
