JW Styling is a private studio at 4285 SW 109th Ave. in Beaverton, on the west side of the Portland metro area. The studio describes itself as a luxury hair extension and hair loss studio, and its work centers on customized extensions and non-surgical hair loss solutions.

Extensions are built around the client. Invisible Bead Extensions keep the beads tucked away, so hair can still be worn up, and Mesh Integration uses a lightweight mesh foundation shaped to the client's head. Meshless Integration adds coverage and fullness without a mesh foundation and suits clients who have enough natural hair to support it. Hair loss options also include semi-permanent wigs, toppers and top closures, and the studio lists balayage and dimensional color among its services.

Every process starts with a paid consultation covering hair history, goals, budget and the upkeep a service needs. Extension pricing is customized to each client, and final pricing is reviewed at an in-house consultation before installation day. Mesh and Meshless Integration is generally maintained every four to six weeks, and Invisible Bead Extensions usually every six to eight weeks, when extensions are removed and reinstalled.

The studio works with Goldie Locks, a luxury hair care line formulated with botanical extracts, aloe vera, jojoba oil, antioxidants and lightweight proteins, and it is a Goldie Locks Ambassador Salon. It works with carefully selected professional hair and systems. The studio describes its products as safe and industry-leading.

Some insurance plans might cover a cranial prosthesis when it is medically necessary. The studio does not bill insurers or promise repayment, but it supplies paperwork and receipts that clients can use when filing a claim. Offerings are non-medical cosmetic hair care and hair loss solutions, and the studio neither diagnoses nor treats medical conditions. Payment can be made by major credit card, Afterpay, Cash App, Zelle, or through an HSA or FSA where eligible. Booking requires a valid card, which stays on file. Cancelling or rescheduling within seven days incurs a 50% fee, while changes made within 48 hours or missed appointments incur a 100% fee.
