Stylists and barbers are independent, so each one manages their own bookings, schedule and price list.

Services are booked in person, by phone or through the salon's Vagaro profile, and are priced a la carte. Listed prices are starting prices, exclude 4.712% tax, and vary by stylist tier, which runs from renter and new talent up through junior, senior and master. A product charge may apply when a service needs product. When booking, clients are asked to share their hair type, color history, a photo of the back of their hair and a photo of the result they want. Payment is due at the time of service, and cash, major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Booking policies: arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to a rescheduled appointment, and cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours ahead are charged 50% to the card. No-call, no-show appointments are charged the full booked service. Children are welcome on the salon floor only while receiving a service, and clients need to arrange child care before arriving. Sales are final, and refunds are decided by management. Reminder texts may be sent several times a month, and clients can opt out by replying STOP.

Hair extensions are offered hand-tied, with pricing set at consultation. A consultation with the stylist comes first, followed by a non-refundable deposit before installation. Changing the color or texture after consultation means notifying the salon and repeating the consultation and deposit. Shipped hair can take one to two weeks to arrive. The salon states that its extension hair goes through a special processing technique to reduce color fading, and that extensions can last 8 to 12 months with proper care. It recommends Wet Brush brushes, advises against protein-based and bond-builder products, at-home purple or green toning shampoos and avobenzone sunscreens on extensions, and does not recommend swimming with them.

JV Education offers a 2.5-year apprenticeship for hairstylist and barber certification. The program is not a cosmetology license. It combines weekly hands-on education, shadowing, one-on-one instruction, branding education and portfolio development, and includes a hair kit the salon values at $800. It ends with final testing and certification, with career placement offered. Apprentices file documents with the State Board of Hawaii and register for state board testing in the final phase. The salon also hosts paid hands-on education classes for hair professionals at the salon.
