Just Kuts

Just Kuts is locally owned and run, and has been at its Kings Trading Post Center location since May 2007. It is next door to Artemis and Westside Coffee. The shop describes haircutting as its main focus, and it welcomes men, women and children.

Jesse, the owner and haircutter, has been cutting hair in South Lake Tahoe since 1992. Clients range from about two years old to 97, and many have been coming for more than 25 years.

Kelly is a licensed cosmetologist who has been with the shop for about five years. Before that, Kelly worked as a cosmetology instructor at a Paul Mitchell School. Bookings and questions go through text or phone at 530-613-3580, and Sunday appointments are requested by texting that number. The shop accepts cash, credit, debit and Apple Pay, among other methods.

Keeps its focus on haircutting, with many clients who have stayed for decades.
