Just b. hair operates from two locations: 1611 Satellite Blvd in Duluth, and 1831-C Peachtree Road in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. The salon was founded by Brayden Pelletier, who had served as Educational and Artistic Director for a large salon company before opening it.

New clients complete a consultation form before their first visit. The form asks where they heard about the salon and which location and stylist they prefer. Each look is customized to the client's needs.

The booking policies are detailed. Cancellations and changes need 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours ahead carry a $35 fee for haircut and styling services or a $50 fee for color, chemical, or extension services, and anything with less than 24 hours' notice is charged 50% of the scheduled total. Missed appointments without notice are charged the full scheduled total, and after two no-shows a $50 deposit is required for future bookings, applied to the appointment total when services are complete. Appointments carry a 15-minute grace period, a $5 service fee applies to each service ticket, and all services are non-refundable.

Guests are asked to come to appointments alone unless they are receiving a scheduled service, and the salon advises leaving valuables at home. Concerns about a service must be raised within 14 days of the appointment, and adjustments are performed by the original stylist when possible.

Customized looks are built around each client's needs, with the salon's founder also focused on helping stylists grow both their artistry and their business.
