Juni Perfect Hair

Juni Perfect Hair works out of Lenore Hair Studio, with the entrance on 34th Street in Hampden. The stylist works independently in this shared studio and sets their own schedule and pricing. Listed hours are Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Monday, Tuesday and Saturday are closed, though Tuesday and Saturday appointments can be requested by text.

The consultation looks at hair condition and chemical history rather than only a reference photo. Clients should wash their hair at least one day before the appointment. Clean hair is generally preferred, but a freshly washed scalp is not preferred for on-scalp lightening.

Haircuts include a hair wash and blow-dry. Travel haircuts are offered at the client's location for haircuts only, with no color. Travel appointments are priced a little differently and travel costs depend on distance, within a stated radius of 50 miles around Catonsville and Ellicott City. For travel visits the client provides a chair, and blow-dries are not included but can be requested. The stylist notes they no longer take clients in Ellicott City.

Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours notice. Changes made with less notice carry a fee of 50% of the service total, and a no-show carries a fee of 100%. No card is kept on file. Emergencies are decided case by case at the stylist's discretion, and failing to follow the cancellation policy can end the stylist-client relationship. Clients receive a confirmation text the day before an accepted appointment.

Street parking is free or metered around Hampden, including Chestnut Avenue and 36th Street, so allow 5 to 10 extra minutes to park. Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, since appointments open with a 5 to 15 minute consultation. Private, quiet appointments can be requested at certain times because the space is shared. Ear plugs and stim toys are available, and clients can note accessibility needs in their appointment notes, though the studio is not currently wheelchair accessible. A space is provided for outer layers and jewelry; turtlenecks, bulky sweatshirts or hoodies and dangly earrings are not recommended. The business says everyone is welcome as a client.
