Julies Studio is a Kansas City-area salon run by its owner, Julie Horton. Horton has worked in hair for more than 25 years, both as a cosmetologist and as a business operator. Her work has taken her across the United States and overseas to teach hair design. The menu covers everyday haircuts, color, and styling for occasions.

Visits are by appointment. The studio is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday hours from 9am to 4pm are available by request or for special events. Complimentary consultations are offered, and both Brazilian blowouts and Babe Hair extensions begin with one. Prices may change without notice, and longer hair costs slightly more.

The coloring menu includes balayage with one or two colors, single foils, Shades EQ color glossing, a Shade of Grey service and basic color. Cutting services cover men's and women's haircuts with finish, beard trims, blowouts and iron work. Waxing is available for brows, lip and chin, separately or together, and a glycolic peel is offered to men and women.
