The business opened in 1989 as a single flagship salon founded by Joseph Golshani and has since grown into four locations across Georgia. The team is described as multicultural, and the salon presents itself as a salon and spa group built around beauty professionals from many backgrounds.

The salon says it aims to go beyond what guests expect. Corrective color is by consultation only and is quoted after a color consultation. Hair extension pricing is given at consultation, and appointments and deposits are required. Guests can also receive complimentary extras such as chair massage, scalp massage, a professional consultation or a makeup touch-up.

Signature offerings include the Botanical Hair & Scalp Therapy, which pairs a scalp massage with a botanically based hair treatment and a hand step, and the Full Spectrum Gloss, a demi-permanent Aveda color treatment. The salon says it has worked in hair extensions for more than twenty years and offers both synthetic and human hair. Starting prices run from $35 for children's haircuts and $45 for men's haircuts to $220 for full foil and $250 for balayage or ombre.

According to the salon, it is an award-winning business. It says it was recognized as a Top 200 Salon in America and named to The Honor Roll 50 by Salon Today Magazine, that New Beauty magazine voted it a Five-Star beauty destination, and that Atlanta magazine listed it among the Top 10 Hair Salons in Atlanta. Most locations are open Tuesday through Saturday, with Saturday hours from 9am to 5pm. Roswell/Norcross is closed Sunday and Monday, Duluth/John's Creek is closed Sunday and Monday, and Cumming/Vickery is closed Monday and Sunday. Alpharetta/Milton is open Tuesday through Saturday and takes Sunday visits by appointment only.

Uses only Aveda products, which the salon describes as petroleum- and paraben-free, and follows Aveda's environmental focus. Stylists complete a rigorous education curriculum before working on the floor and take continuing education every year through the in-house Advance Academy.
