The school offers a cosmetology program covering hairstyling, hair shaping, permanent waving, relaxing, coloring, facial makeup and people skills. Its esthetician program covers skin analysis, facial massage, skin treatment machines, masks, hair removal, makeup and sanitation. A teacher training course in cosmetology includes supervised practical experience. The school is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences. To enroll, students must be at least 16 and hold a high school diploma from a state-recognized school or a GED; foreign diplomas must be translated and certified by an approved credential evaluation service.

The school says it wants each student to develop a personal style as a beauty professional, and it describes its students as a close-knit family. It states that 99% of students in its cosmetology and esthetician programs pass their boards on the first try, that its graduates find strong positions, that many of its students have started their own businesses, and that students graduate debt-free. Visitors can tour the school Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, in 30-minute slots. Saturday tours are limited, so callers should phone 504-467-2774 to check availability. Customer service hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 2 PM. Services are reserved by calling the phone number of any school location. A $2.75 surcharge applies to hair service requests and to Saturday services, and prices may vary with the complexity of the service at the salon's discretion.

The school focuses on helping each student develop their own style and teaches passion, professionalism, personalization and technical skill. Training covers hairstyling methods used both traditionally and today.
