The salon is owned by Johnna, who has been part of its growth since the beginning, and it offers haircutting, shampooing, blow-drying, colouring, smoothing and texture services, and hair extensions.

The team is organised into junior, senior and master stylist levels, and pricing for most services is set by level, so clients can see the starting cost for the tier they choose. Haircuts are the only service that includes a blow-dry. Pricing for all services can rise with hair length and thickness. Stylists have access to a structured training program, support for advanced education and flexible schedules.

Booking requires a credit card on file, which is charged only for cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments, at 50% of the scheduled services. Services that need a longer appointment may require a deposit, which is taken off the final payment. Tips are accepted in cash or by personal check only. Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal check and cash. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 9 to 3, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 7, Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 3, and may shift depending on stylist availability.

The in-store boutique carries handbags, jewellery, accessories and clothing from local and national designers, along with the salon's own Smile You Are Beautiful clothing line. Gift cards and customised gift baskets are also available.

The salon focuses on leaving clients pleased with the look of their results, and it uses boutique hair products it says are the industry's finest.
