JK Styles Glam Studio works mainly on protective and install-based hair services: traditional and lace sew-ins, lace behind the hairline sew-ins, wig installs with or without shampoo, quick weaves, and hand-sewn wigs. It also offers silk presses with hydrating steam, shampoo-bowl blowout sessions, and take-down appointments that remove an old sew-in, wig or cornrows before a fresh blowout.

Installs begin with shampoo and conditioning, and many include hydrating steam, small seamless braids and scalp oiling before the extensions or lace go on. Maintenance visits are scheduled on a set timeline after the initial install, so the hairline and exposed scalp can be cleaned and the sew-in or lace retightened. Quick restyles within a week or two of an appointment are also available, though they do not include re-gluing or laying lace.

Reserving a visit involves several steps. Each appointment is held with a $20 security deposit, which is credited toward the total bill. The deposit cannot be refunded or transferred, and this applies to no-shows as well as cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead. Guests planning a color service should bring their hair in three to four days before the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available in person for bookings between $50 and $4,000, and it must be approved before the visit.

Clients with very long or thick hair should contact the studio before booking a silk press, and hair past the bra-line should be discussed in advance to avoid extra fees. The studio says it does not offer or specialize in exotic styling such as bantu knots, sleek styles or braid designs.

Bridal consultations are held virtually for the bride only, last 30 minutes, and the booked date serves as the consultation. Hours run Tuesday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM to 3 PM, with the studio closed Sundays and Mondays.
