Jessica Todd Salon operates from two spots: a Downtown Portsmouth studio on Vaughan Street and a Durham location on Main Street, on the UNH campus. Both keep similar hours, with Portsmouth open until 5pm on Saturdays and Durham until 3pm.

Color is the salon's specialty. Its stylists work across a wide range, from soft, subtle highlights to bold, dramatic changes, using professional-grade hair color products. The salon also says it carries premium hair products.

The Durham location includes a spa menu. Clients can book facials, including organic, acne-focused and antioxidant options, along with manicures, pedicures, massage, paraffin treatments, gel manicures and professional waxing for brows, legs, bikini, Brazilian and more. Gel X is offered there as well.

Nail services are arranged in tiers. An Express Manicure covers nail shaping, cuticle work, buffing and shine, and a choice of nail lacquer or clear coat. Signature and Deluxe manicures add a hand massage and, at the top tier, a paraffin treatment. Gel polish follows the same pattern, from Express Gel through Signature and Deluxe Gel. Gel removal, polish changes, an extra massage and an added paraffin treatment can be added on.
