The salon's founding values are integrity and proactive excellence. Its mission is to build confidence through integrity and education, and to help clients manage their own hair and look between visits. The salon describes itself as a place for clients who want more than a service, and it states a goal of becoming the regional benchmark for salon excellence.
A visit usually begins with booking online: new clients choose a service, then a stylist, or request a digital consultation if they are unsure what to book. Curly hair services start with a consultation about curl type and home care. Guests with exceptional length or density are asked to reserve extra time. The salon suggests root refreshes every four to six weeks and dimensional blonding every six to twelve weeks, and it highly recommends toner or gloss with all dimensional blonding. The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday.
