Jasmine Moon Studio

Jasmine Moon Studio is a one-person practice in Tacoma, run by the esthetician Jasmine Paxton. It focuses on small-batch skincare and on facials for clients whose skin is sensitive or prone to breakouts.

The studio offers three facials. The Botnia Sacred Ritual runs 75 minutes and uses herbal, plant-based products to calm inflammation and help restore balance. The Corrective Ritual is offered at 60 or 75 minutes and uses more advanced tools with professional-grade products from Meaux Co and VXN Lab to work on acne, texture and pigment. The Jasmine Moon Facial is a third option.

Each visit begins with a consultation to check in on the skin and its needs, and the treatment is built for that day. Every facial includes gua sha, LED or cold therapy and massage, and add-ons are never required. Products are mixed fresh for each session.

The studio follows a slow approach, with seasonal adjustments and guidance aimed at balance over time, and product choices are made with integrity in mind. Clients are not pushed toward upgrades, and the room is calm and non-judgmental. A skincare blog shares seasonal education, and the shop sells curated serums and herb-infused masks.

Booking is recommended at least a week ahead. Cancelling or rescheduling requires 24 hours' notice; changes made 12 to 24 hours before an appointment may be charged 50 percent, and cancellations under 12 hours or no-shows may be charged in full. If running late, send a text, as the session may be shortened to stay on schedule. Treatments once performed are not refunded, though post-treatment concerns can be discussed for adjustments, and opened or used products cannot be refunded or exchanged. Parking is in two lots: the front lot leads to the entrance with the upstairs gift shop, and the back lot, which has an Alice in Wonderland mural, is used for after-hours appointments.
