The practice is built around two areas: acne-focused skin care and permanent hair removal through electrolysis. The owner began her skincare work in 2016 and holds board-certified electrologist and advanced (master) esthetician credentials. The aim, as the studio presents it, is to address unwanted hair, acne and other cosmetic concerns in a way that leaves clients feeling heard and not judged. The studio welcomes people from all backgrounds and works often with clients whose acne or unwanted hair is linked to hormonal factors.
Acne care follows a program. A first-time acne visit covers an acne history discussion, skin analysis, identification of the acne type, a serum sensitivity test and an exfoliating chemical peel or enzyme, and runs about 90 minutes when the consultation and treatment both go ahead. Treatments are priced by area: face at $125, face and back at $185, and face, back and chest at $245, with first-time appointments listed at $400, $560 and $620. An Express Acne Treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes at $100, and an Advanced Acne Treatment takes 90 to 105 minutes at $175. LED light therapy can be added to any service for $35. The program calls for regularly scheduled in-office sessions along with a home care routine suited to the client's skin type. Prices are listed as approximate, and product sets are offered separately.
Electrolysis works by inserting a fine probe into each hair follicle, applying electrical current for about 3 to 4 seconds and then removing the hair. The studio describes the method as suitable for any hair color and for darker skin tones, with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation noted as a possible concern during healing. Redness or swelling usually settles within an hour, though with coarser hair or sensitive skin it can last 2 to 7 days. The studio states that electrolysis is the only form of permanent hair removal approved by the FDA. There is no fixed number of sessions, since the count depends on the individual. A first-time electrolysis visit is $75 and includes a brief consultation and a 20-minute treatment. Other sessions are priced from $60 for 15 minutes up to $220 for 120 minutes. Add-ons for electrolysis clients include a custom herbal mask ($25), a chemical peel ($55) and extractions ($20 for 5 minutes).
Other services include corrective facials, which are custom to skin type and aim to hydrate, detoxify or brighten, and superficial chemical peels for fine lines, acne scars and uneven pigmentation. Peels have no downtime, though some dryness or tightness can occur for a few days. After an acne peel, clients are asked to avoid sweating, hot tubs and sun exposure for 24 hours. Skin Classic is a 40-minute treatment at $165 that uses a high-frequency heat device on skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, seborrheic keratosis, cherry angiomas, telangiectasias, some hyperpigmentation and milia. Healing usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, during which sun protection and a daily moisturizer are required. The studio reports 29 online reviews averaging 5.0, according to its home page.
Treatment is built around acne-safe skin care alongside permanent hair removal, with the aim of restoring clients' confidence and making each visit feel unhurried and non-judgmental.
