Appointments run Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, with early morning and evening times available each week. Color services are priced individually, and cuts always include a shampoo and blow dry. New color and extension clients need a consultation first, which can be arranged by phone at no charge. Guests can park free for three hours in the clock tower lot behind the salon, or use the four-hour spaces behind the Danville Train Depot if they plan to spend the day. Espresso drinks and complimentary wi-fi are available.
The salon describes its style as a blend of French technique and Southern California style. Balayage, a hand-painted French highlighting method, is one of its signature offerings. Treatments are custom blends chosen for each client's hair, and the salon uses treatment products aimed at moisture loss, severe chemical damage and loss of shine.
Keely and Maurice attend training classes in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco each year. The salon also hosts advanced classes for professional colleagues at its Danville location, and runs an in-house training program for assistant stylists, now led under Keely's creative direction. Keely visits the Santa Barbara location every six weeks. The salon accepts resumes by email from assistants, haircutters and colorists.
Aims to make every guest feel good and receive exceptional service, combining French technique with Southern California style.
A relaxed space where guests are known by name, with a balcony over Downtown Danville, a garden area and a fireplace reading room.
