The salon aims to bring traditional Japanese scalp care practices to Arizona. The owner and mentor studied Japanese head spa techniques in Kyoto, Japan, and the salon describes the work as authentic to that tradition.

A visit starts with a scalp analysis using a 5-in-1 hair analyzer, which assesses scalp and hair health before any treatment. From there, the session moves through exfoliation, scalp massage and an ultrasonic mist treatment, with a deep conditioning step tailored to scalp and hair type. Each package ends with a blowdry.

Guests recline in a Yumi head spa bed for the relaxation portion, which includes essential oil aromatherapy, neck and shoulder massage, herbal tea and blankets. Staff use Japanese products throughout the treatments.

Every team member goes through hands-on training and mentoring before they work on a client. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is suggested. Groups of three or more should phone the salon to reserve.

Treatments are adjusted to each client's scalp condition and individual needs, using traditional Japanese scalp care methods.

The head spa beds, aromatherapy and herbal tea give the visit a restful, spa-like setting.
