The salon opened in 1990 and moved in 2017 from a strip mall storefront into its current bungalow on a hill. It has been an exclusively Aveda salon for more than 20 years, and it says it is the only exclusively Aveda salon in Union County.

Texture and treatment options include Botanical Repair and Aveda Strength Infusion conditioning, a Damage Remedy spa treatment, perms, spirals and several keratin treatments.

The boutique is at the back of the salon and welcomes people who are not salon clients. It carries apparel, jewelry and leather goods from brands including Capucine De Wulf, C C + Co., Charlie B, Foxcroft, Foil, Habitat, Julie Vos, Maison Berger Paris, Robell and Simon Sebbag. The salon describes the boutique as a hidden gem, and it also offers personal shopping appointments for clothing and accessories.

Listed prices are the lowest offered and may vary by stylist and add-ons, so the final quote is given at booking. If a result is not satisfactory, most requested changes are free within 10 days of the first visit, and redo requests within one week are scheduled at no cost with the original stylist. Specialty services such as bridal parties or treatments taking three hours or more require a 50% credit card charge at booking and 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Other appointments need 24 hours' notice to cancel, and guests running about 15 minutes late should call the salon. The salon accepts cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa, and sells gift cards.
