Ja'Tae Style Studio LLC is a Euclid studio where owner and hairstylist Tanisha Norris handles the work. The menu leans toward natural hair: braids of many kinds, locs from starter and retwist services through interlocking and instant locs, and silk presses for adults and children. Color, haircuts, relaxers, perms and sew-in extensions are also offered, along with treatments such as deep conditioning, hot oil, protein and steam.

Booking is done online through the studio's Glossgenius page. Hours are Wednesday 2:30 to 6 PM, Thursday 5:30 to 8 PM, Friday 3:30 to 11 PM and Saturday 6 AM to 4 PM, with the studio closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Clients who arrive ten minutes late pay a $15 late fee, and an appointment is canceled if the client arrives twenty minutes late. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment time are not charged, while no-shows and late cancellations are charged half the cost of the service. Some services ask new clients for a deposit, including box braids, sew-ins, instant locs, loc removal and hand-made loc extensions. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Visits at home are also possible for a traveling fee.
