j.Spa Esthetics is an esthetics studio at 7161 N. Cicero in Lincolnwood, led by its owner, master esthetician Maryanne Javier. The menu runs from standard and specialty facials to advanced peels, microneedling, DMK skin revision services and waxing, with optional add-ons such as LED light, oxygen infusion, buccal massage and extractions.

The studio is open Wednesday through Friday from 11:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and is normally closed Sunday through Tuesday. Appointments on those days can be arranged for an extra $25 after-hours fee added to the service total. Clients can book through the studio's Square booking page, call or text (773) 879-1600, or email maryanne@jspaesthetics.com. If a suggested time does not work, clients can email or text to ask about another option.

The studio advises a consultation with its skincare experts before these, so a treatment can be matched to the skin. Pricing for some services, including TCA cross, chemical peel, the custom first-time facial and extractions, varies and is quoted at the visit.

Policies: cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours ahead is charged 50% of the full service price, a no-call, no-show is charged the full price, and arriving 15 minutes or more late may mean the appointment cannot be seen and is charged 50%. The after-hours fee is not refunded on a cancellation or no-show. Gift cards are available for purchase.

Maryanne works to build lasting client relationships, with each treatment plan shaped around the client's aesthetic goals. Advanced treatments begin with a consultation to find the right match.
