The studio sits on Howard Street in Skokie, in the northwest suburbs just outside Chicago. Its work centers on locs and wigs, with braids, cornrows, twists and washes also on the menu.

Loc services range from a light maintenance add-on and a basic style to full retwists, starter locs and invisible locs. A loc detox uses an apple cider vinegar and baking soda solution, followed by shampoo and deep conditioning. Starter locs begin with a consultation, then a wash and installation in coils, twists or both, with a hairstyle where appropriate. Invisible locs are offered in two sizes, and a wash and hair are included in those appointments.

Wig services come in two forms. Customization is a drop-off service covering washing, plucking, bleaching and styling for closure or frontal wigs. Installs, for closure or frontal wigs, include braiding down the hair, moisturizing or oiling, installing the closure or frontal, and basic straightening or curls. The wig must be dropped off before the appointment day for installs, and for customizations the chosen appointment time is the drop-off time. Braids, cornrows and barrel twists are also offered, with washes often included.

Appointment times are estimates, since hair varies. Deposits apply to some services, including extended twists, invisible locs, stitch cornrows and ponytails. A late fee of 15 dollars applies after 15 minutes late, and 25 dollars after 30 minutes. Appointments are cancelled after 30 minutes with no communication, and clients are asked to notify the studio as early as possible about cancellations or changes. Messages may take 24 to 48 hours to receive a response. Payments are accepted.
