J&J Hair Studio takes its concept from the Jack & Jill story and serves both men and women in one location in Ravenel.
The studio's view is that good hair doesn't come from a single template, so each service is shaped around what the guest wants to achieve. First-time guests start with a complimentary 15-minute consultation to talk through color goals and agree on a plan.
The studio is divided into two spaces. The left side is light, minimal and feminine and is used for women's services, while the right side is darker and more masculine and is used for men's services.
Services are priced as packages, and the studio says everything needed for a service is included. Color prices are starting points, and a more specific estimate is given before the service begins. Blonding appointments are package priced and don't require adding a haircut.
Aleigha Elston owns the studio. Clients can book online or by calling or texting (843) 920-4441, and missed calls are returned during business hours.
Each service is tailored to the guest's goals, and the studio works from a plan agreed at the start of the visit.
