J ILASH opened in 2020 and concentrates entirely on grafted lash extension technology rather than offering a wider menu of beauty services. Clients can reach the studio by phone or by email, and it is open daily from 10AM to 7PM.

A first appointment includes a short amount of paperwork and runs 60 to 90 minutes. Stylists take each client into a private room, help choose the lash length, curl and style, and then apply the extensions one at a time while the client lies on a cushioned table. The studio offers one-on-one design from the first style choice through to final adjustments.

Four lash styles are on offer. D0lleye places the longest lashes at the center, tapering toward the corners, and the studio suggests it for almond, deep-set, mono-lid, down-turned, wide-set or hooded eyes. Natural holds one consistent length across the whole eye, and the studio suggests it for almond, protruding, mono-lid or close-set eyes. Cateye lengthens the outer corner and carries the same suggested eye shapes as Natural. Wispy combines long and short lashes, and the salon calls it the most popular option with younger clients. Extensions are available from 8mm to 17mm, in J, B, C and D curls.

Before a visit, clients are asked to arrive without eye makeup, curled lashes or mascara, to avoid sunscreen, moisturizer, oil and caffeine, and to skip waterproof mascara for two to three days beforehand. Clients who already wear extensions should mention this when booking so that removal time can be added. Extensions usually last two to three weeks and sometimes up to four with care, and a new set is recommended once lashes have been in place for more than four weeks. Aftercare includes brushing with a clean spoolie, sleeping on satin and on the back, and avoiding steamy rooms, saunas and heavy sun exposure. Makeup can be worn 24 hours after treatment, though mascara should not be used with extensions. The studio offers a free touch-up visit for lash issues or dissatisfaction.

Each set is designed one-on-one with the client, and stylists apply extensions one by one in a private room. The studio says it aims for a high level of customer satisfaction and that its application method does not pull or break natural lashes.
