Each visit follows the Skin-Calm Ritual, a six-step routine that moves from cleansing and preparing the skin to waxing, treating, calming, and hydrating it. The ritual is included with eligible waxes, and facial services get a version sized for the face. The studio describes its waxes as premium, organic, and botanical, says its hygiene is hospital-grade and exceeds industry standards, and describes its method as a proprietary, comfort-first technique suited to sensitive skin.
Before a wax, clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch, usually two to three weeks of growth, and to arrive with clean skin free of oils, lotions, heavy products, and harsh exfoliation. For the first 24 to 48 hours afterward, the studio recommends skipping hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, pools, and hot tubs. Waxing is not done in the first trimester of pregnancy, and clients taking certain medications or with recent procedures should contact the studio before booking. Brazilian and bikini waxes can usually be done during a period with a fresh tampon or menstrual cup in place. The studio says results often last several weeks and that many clients return every four to six weeks.
