Intuitive Skin Studio was started by Cassie Cunningham after years working at luxury medspas, including a large resort spa. The studio focuses on corrective skincare, and microneedling, chemical peels and acne care sit at the center of the menu.

The studio's stated belief is that clinical results should not mean giving up relaxation, so visits are built to feel calm as well as effective. It treats quality products as the basis for results and offers a range of iS Clinical skincare. The studio describes itself as offering spa-style treatments with med spa results in the Twin Cities.

A first visit usually begins with a consultation and skin analysis. There is no receptionist, so new clients pick up a release form with their name on it at the front desk, complete it and wait in a seat. Clients are asked to bring current medications, prescription topicals and their skincare routine. A complimentary beverage or snack is offered, and treatment rooms have blankets; some treatments include a gentle face and shoulder massage.

Acne Bootcamp is a structured program that begins with an intro consultation covering skin history, acne type and lifestyle, followed by in-studio treatments every two weeks and a twice-daily home routine with recommended products. Maintenance follows every 4 to 6 weeks. Clients who do not want to use the recommended products cannot join. The treatments are led by Acne Experts, licensed estheticians certified through Face Reality's Acne Expert Program. Early purging is expected, and the studio says most of it begins to ease by month three or four, with no guarantee on timing.

Treatments are customized to each person's skin, with products and steps chosen after a skin analysis. The studio's philosophy is that effective clinical care and a relaxing visit can go together.
