International Hairlines was founded in South Florida by Seif Sidky, with the aim of building an international SMP brand. The business now lists locations in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Raleigh, Solvay, Cairo and Alexandria, and says it operates or has affiliate partners in more than nine locations. It also says it has treated over 2,000 clients and describes its staff as award-winning.

Men can book SMP for receding hairlines, thinning hair and balding crowns. Women can book SMP aimed at thinning areas on the crown and top of the head, including cases of alopecia. Scar camouflage covers hair transplant scars, including FUT and FUE scars, as well as accident or alopecia scarring. SMP for alopecia covers round patches, complete baldness and total body hair loss, and SMP repair can adjust the colour, density or shape of existing pigment. A combined SMP and hair transplant option is available, with the transplant done before or after. Beard and facial micropigmentation and non-laser tattoo removal are also offered, and eyebrow microblading is available at the Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Syracuse locations.

A first step is a free consultation of about 30 minutes, held in person in Boca Raton or virtually. Price depends on the treatment area, skin type, hairstyle and density, and scarring. Sessions run roughly $400 to $1,600, and touch-up sessions typically cost $400 to $800. Most clients need two to four sessions. Financing and payment plans are available, and prospective clients are asked to raise financing at their consultation. The business says it guarantees clients will be fully satisfied before leaving the final session.

After a session, aftercare covers sun exposure and keeping the scalp dry for a time. Slight scalp redness is common for two to three days, and clients commonly rate discomfort at three to five on a scale of one to ten. The business says SMP creates the look of hair growth rather than regrowing hair, and that pigment lasts around three to six years before a touch-up. Pigment can be fully removed by laser if a client chooses.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual, and artists choose single micro or three-point needles for each area.
