The salon uses Candela GentleLase and GentleYAG laser systems, and the salon describes its Candela system as the most effective laser hair removal system on the market. Each session lets clients choose from several treatment areas. The laser is approved for Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI. Single sessions are priced by size, from a small session at $75 to an extra large session at $180, with three-session bundles and larger multi-session packages. New York State requires laser hair removal to be performed by a New York State licensed esthetician or cosmetologist, and clients can check a practitioner's licence status through the state's online verification services.
Designer peels include Jessner peels, lactic and glycolic acid peels, and other peels such as TCA, AHA/BHA and TCA herbal. The range runs from a gentle peel suited to sensitive skin to a deeper peel for more pressing skin concerns. LED therapy options include Collagen Remodeling, Designer Depigmenters, Lumilift, Photorejuvenation Lumifacial and Whisper Laser skin resurfacing. The salon also has Salthaven, a Himalayan salt cave micro-climate room.
Visit policies are firm. Appointments running more than ten minutes late may be rescheduled. A 24-hour cancellation notice is strictly enforced, and a no-call, no-show or a late cancellation forfeits one package session. Prepaid packages are non-refundable once started. The salon may decline treatment for clients who have recently tanned or who take medications that cause photosensitivity, and clients should tell their technician about tanning or health changes since their last visit.
