Innovation Hair Studio Plus is a semi-private studio in Sarasota where each appointment centers on one guest. The owner, Robin Tam, is a hair colorist and extension specialist, and the studio works with women on color, extensions and keratin treatments.

The studio uses organic and naturally derived color and treatments, and it chooses cleaner, high-quality products with a holistic view of hair care. The goal is a calm, low-stress visit that leaves guests feeling comfortable with their look and their daily routine.

New guests are listed first in the online booking menu, which is organized into extensions, color, keratin treatments, and bleach and highlighting. Before booking, guests can take a complimentary half-hour virtual consultation to talk through services. New extension installs and extension types that are not on the menu require a consultation appointment, and a deposit may be asked for when booking an extension install. The non-refundable $100 extension consultation fee is currently waived. During a visit, guests are offered healthy beverages, including wine, and a light snack, and each chair has a personal cubby for belongings. Introductory and rebooking services finish with a complimentary custom haircut or haircut dusting and blending.

Extensions include hand-tied, machine and Q wefts, keratin tip extensions in full strand, micro and mini sizes, and tape-in extensions. Keratin smoothing uses formaldehyde-free treatments, and retail includes Kevin Murphy products. The studio also works as a one-stop shop for hair care and self-care products. Hours are Wednesday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 7 PM, with the studio closed Sunday through Tuesday.
