Every patient receives a physician-tailored treatment plan at no charge. The practice describes its approach as physician-supervised and data-based, using an evidence-based method that includes novel and adjunctive therapies. Peptide plans are individualized by a physician, and a free consultation is offered; pricing depends on the prescription plan. Peptides are sourced from US-based manufacturers that test for potency and purity, and they are given in cycles with built-in breaks.
Medical IV and injectable therapies are prescription-only. Patients can bring a prescription from their primary provider, or an Initium physician can evaluate and prescribe when it is appropriate. These treatments are used for acute, non-emergent conditions, and the practice describes Medical IVs as an alternative to the ER. No diagnostic or point-of-care testing is offered on site.
Ketamine treatment is offered for mental health conditions and chronic pain, beginning with a $375 introductory mental health infusion. Pricing varies by condition, so the office asks clients to call to discuss individual cases. No referral is needed, and the practice works with a patient's treatment team when possible. An emergency physician is on site during ketamine treatment. Insurance does not currently cover it, but itemized superbills are provided for private insurers, though not for Medicare or Medicaid. Patients should arrive 15 minutes early, eat lightly that day, avoid food for four hours and drinks for one hour before arrival, wear loose clothing, and plan a ride home, since they may not drive for the rest of the day. Blankets, pillows, headphones and a playlist are welcome.
