The studio was founded by Inhye, who left a corporate job to enter the beauty industry. The belief behind the work is that beauty belongs in everyday life and can help a person feel empowered, and each visit is built around the client's lifestyle, hair type and personal taste.

Coloring is built around low-maintenance, lived-in results for all hair types. Services range from all-over toner and gray coverage to partial and full highlights and multi-step bleach work. Clients who have used non-professional color, including products labeled temporary, need to disclose it before the appointment. The studio treats all color as permanent, and color correction can take longer than the estimated appointment time.

Designer cuts are shaped around lifestyle, hair type and mood, and the stylist explains how to style at home. Special occasion services cover headshots, weddings and similar events, and bridal hair and makeup trials are arranged by consultation.

For highlight and gray correction services, clean hair is recommended, while haircuts can be booked on dirty hair. Appointment times depend on hair length, density and goal, so listed times are estimates. Parking is available in front of and behind The Collab Studio building. There is no back entrance, so clients walk in from the front. Bookings are made through a Glossgenius online page.
