SMP is used to recreate the look of a closely shaved head or buzz cut, and the studio also treats patterned baldness, hair fillers, and scar camouflage. The pigment is carbon-based and designed to match natural follicle color, and it does not turn blue. For red or grey hair, the pigment is diluted to match.

Consultations are free with no obligation and can be held in person or by phone. Before any work, the consultation includes a hairline simulation and mockup so the planned result can be seen. Hairline options are Rounded Natural, Edge Up, and Slightly Receded. Pricing depends on the amount of hair loss, and a specialist provides a free quote after receiving the client's information. Visits are by appointment only.

Treatment usually takes two to three sessions of two to four hours each, scheduled at least 10 days apart. The first session lays the foundation, the second adds density, and the third makes final adjustments. Redness typically fades within 24 to 48 hours, and aftercare instructions are given after each session. Clients are advised to use SPF sunblock because sun exposure can fade the impressions, and wearing a hat afterward is fine. Impressions are permanent but fade slowly, so a touch-up is typically needed every four to five years. Existing scars can be left uncovered if the client prefers.
