Lula has worked in the field for over 20 years. Before opening this business, she worked at Studio 19, Salon & Spa in Brooklyn, and at Episkin and Smooth Skin, both on Staten Island. She is a licensed New York State cosmetologist, and her electrology training came from the NY Institute of Electrolysis, where she became a certified electrologist in 1997. She also holds a 1998 certification in laser and light-based hair removal.

Electrolysis is the studio's main focus. The business states that electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal treatment recognized by the FDA. It says the method can remove hair from any part of the body for men and women, and is offered for dark, light, gray, straight and curly hair on all skin tones. A new disposable needle is used for each treatment. Electrolysis is priced by time: 15 minutes for $30, 30 minutes for $50, 45 minutes for $70, and 60 minutes for $100.

Reiki is also offered. Lula holds certifications as a Usui Reiki master, granted in 2004, and in Karuna Reiki, granted in 2005, both through William L Rand. A 60-minute reiki session is listed at $75. Ear candling, described as an ear-cleaning technique using a hollow cone, is available as a single $30 session. Eyebrow and eyelash tinting can be booked together for $30 or as one of the two for $20, with colors that include black, blue-black, gray and brown for light blond or white-gray brows and lashes. The studio is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 8 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM, and most credit cards are accepted.
