Idriss Dermatology was founded by Dr. Shereene Idriss and operates as a medical dermatology practice in New York City. Every treatment is performed by a board-certified dermatologist, either Dr. Shereene Idriss or Dr. Juliya Fisher, rather than by a nurse or physician assistant.
The practice says it favors frank, realistic advice over selling, and that a doctor will say when a patient does not need a treatment. The first visit covers facial features and movement, what the patient wants to keep, and what treatment can and cannot change. Care is delivered in small steps, and the plan is revisited as skin and priorities change. The stated aim is timeless results over trends and long-term relationships over quick sales.
Consultations cost $425 per doctor and are collected at booking; that fee is not applied toward treatment. Exact pricing and the available options and their limits are reviewed before a patient decides. Same-day treatment is often possible after a consultation when appropriate, though some procedures need a separate visit for timing and preparation. New patient forms are sent ahead of the visit, with specific preparation instructions when needed. Appointments are unhurried, and patients with existing bookings may join a priority list for earlier openings.
Appointments with Dr. Shereene Idriss are booked by phone at (212) 612-1520. Appointments with Dr. Juliya Fisher can be booked online. Cancellations and rescheduling need 48 hours' notice, and changes made inside that window carry a $400 fee. Appointments that start more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. The practice does not accept insurance, but HSA and FSA funds may be used for qualifying medical services. An out-of-town concierge service is available, and visitors are asked to call before booking travel so timing, preparation and follow-up can be discussed. Cosmetic treatments are not performed during pregnancy, and breastfeeding patients are evaluated case by case.
Dr. Idriss Skincare is a separate skincare line, not part of the medical practice. It launched in 2022 and is sold at Sephora.
Starts with the whole face and how it moves, favoring small steps, candid advice and subtle results, with the plan revisited over time.
Unhurried appointments in a calm, stress-free office overlooking Bryant Park.
