The studio began in 2021 as Hairless by Hannah, in a small room inside an insurance agency in Royse City. Its founder, Hannah, had previously worked for a corporate wax chain. Since then the business has moved to new locations several times, and it has added studios under the HxH Studios name to make room for more staff.

About

Services cover the face, brows, underarms, legs, back, chest and intimate areas, with single-area waxes starting at $15 and a full face wax at $67. Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch, wait 10 days to two weeks after shaving before a wax, avoid tanning 48 hours beforehand, and not shave between waxes. Visits every three to four weeks are suggested for better results. Modesty coverings are not used for certain services so appointments can run on schedule.

Brow services include waxing, tinting, lamination and combination packages, with brow lamination at $100 and deluxe brow lamination at $125. Lash options run from a lash tint at $30 to a Korean lash lift that uses a cysteamine-based system, which the studio says curls lashes for up to 8 to 12 weeks. The facial menu ranges from a mini or introductory facial starting at $80 to a collagen induction treatment with nano-needling starting at $250, which is recommended as a series of four. A facial consultation is free and includes a skin analysis.

Procedures take one to three hours, with topical and secondary numbing applied. Healing takes about two to three weeks, and the treated area must stay dry for at least two weeks. The studio says the work is designed to last one to three years, with yearly color boosts as needed. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required, and clients need a doctor's permission first. Waiting periods apply after chemical peels, retinols, harsh facials and oral acne treatment, and the service is not offered to clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on certain blood thinners or cancer treatments. Non-laser tattoo removal, including for permanent makeup, starts at $200, and the tattoo removal consultation is complimentary.

Memberships offer more than 20 options with monthly billing, member-only rates on select services and products, 10% off retail products and 15% off one add-on per visit; details are available in store. The studio is open Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM and Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM. Waxing appointments that start 5 or more minutes late may have some or all services cancelled. Cancelling a waxing appointment without rescheduling within 48 hours carries a 50% service fee, and a no-call no-show is charged 100%.
