Houston Electrolysis Clinic

Houston Electrolysis Clinic is operated by Houston Electrolysis Clinic LLC and sees clients at 114 W Drew St in Houston. Visits are by appointment only, from 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Saturday, and the clinic is closed on Sundays. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Electrolysis is the clinic's main service. Each treatment places a sterile probe into the hair follicle and sends a small electric current to the cells that produce hair. Areas treated include the chin, lips, brows, hairline, sideburns, face, cheeks, nose, ears, nape, neck, chest, breasts, back, shoulders, stomach, bikini area, underarms, arms, hands, legs, toes and feet.

Sessions are booked in blocks from 15 minutes up to 2 hours, and the first consultation is free. The clinic notes that several sessions are typically needed, and says clients usually see results within six months of regular treatment. Clients often rebook three weeks to a month after a session.

Payment is due at the time of treatment. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and major credit cards are accepted, with a 3% fee on credit card payments that the clinic says may change. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments without proper notice are charged a fee. Late arrivals are charged from the originally scheduled time, and appointments may not be extended when the schedule is booked.

The clinic states that it provides complete privacy and confidentiality to clients, and that electrolysis suits all skin types, hair types, skin colors, hair colors and body areas. Anyone under 18 needs parental or guardian consent for treatment.

The clinic presents electrolysis as its single method of permanent hair removal and states that the FDA approves it.
