Custom systems are made to each customer's specifications, including base type, density, length, color and style. Hair is Remy human hair by default, with Asian, Afro, synthetic and virgin European hair available on request. Synthetic is used for gray hair unless the customer asks otherwise, and the company sells its own branded synthetic. Lace and skin bases are transparent so the wearer's skin tone shows through, knots are root bleached using the company's Root Bleach and Color Cap methods, the front hairline is single strand, and a weightless sealant is applied to lace systems. Hairpieces and toppers can be matched to the customer's hair color.

Stock hair systems are ready to ship, and most orders placed before 4 PM Eastern ship the same day. Size, wave or style can be adjusted for a small fee. Shipping on stock systems is free within the United States, with overnight shipping available for an extra charge.

At the Maitland salon, clients can book hair system fitting, cut-in and razor blending, full cut-in attachment, monthly maintenance (where a system is cleaned and reattached), and a template and color match so the system blends. The cut, styled and delivered service lets clients pick a length from a menu or have their current system's cut copied, then receive the system at their door. A stock system with full cut-in service is listed at $399.

The company also offers duplication of an existing system, including changes to base, color or density, and a range of repairs covering added density, torn lace, torn skin and keratin softening. After Hair Direct closed in 2022, the company helped its former customers duplicate or update their systems; the site says more than 500 of them received new systems. Some salons can buy at wholesale rates, and the company offers an emergency stock hairpiece with expedited rush delivery.

Stock systems may be returned within 30 days for an exchange or refund if they have not been cut, worn or altered. Custom systems that do not match the selected specifications are corrected or replaced at no charge within 30 days, if not cut, worn or altered, but custom systems are made to order and are not refunded. According to the site, prices do not increase on reorders. Phone support is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 7 PM Eastern, Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM Eastern, and closed Sunday.
