High Maintenance Stylez is a hair business centered on natural hair, with locs, hair extensions and protective styles as its core work. Appointments are kept on a booked-service basis, with several services that need more than one step scheduled back to back in the same time slot.

Loc work is a major part of the menu, from retwists and basic styling to starter locs, micro loc retwists, and Fulani braids over locs. For children ages 10 and under there are several kid loc options, including retwists with basic styling or two strands, and kid starter locs. Loc maintenance also includes a Loc Apple Cider Vinegar Detox that removes built-up dirt and product, and a consultation for questions, color correction or loc repair.

Hair extension and protective style services include crochet weaves with a knotless part, traditional sew-ins, sew-in maintenance for sew-ins installed by the studio, and sew-in take downs. Custom wigs are made to order with 7A grade human hair and HD lace closures, and custom human hair loc extensions are also made by hand to match color, length and width.

The studio is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 7pm, Friday from 9:30am to 7pm, and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. It is closed Sunday and Monday. The business is located at 2810 E Trinity Mills Rd, Unit 133, Rm 117, Carrollton, TX 75006, and can be reached at (214) 865-8322 or Highmaintenancestylez@gmail.com.

Clients may cancel up to 24 hours ahead of a service. A cancellation made inside that 24-hour window is charged at half of the price of the booked service. Deposits cannot be returned, and they can move to a different appointment only when the change is requested 24 or more hours ahead. Rescheduling needs 24 hours' notice. A client who arrives more than 15 minutes late without getting in touch has the appointment cancelled.

Bleach and tone lifts hair to a chosen level and tones it, and is offered as an add-on that does not include styling. Loc bleach and tone is priced by number of colors and length, and clients send their color goal ahead of time.
