High Frequency Electrology is an electrolysis practice on Dominican Drive in Nashville, opened by Bethany, who is its owner and electrologist. The practice focuses on permanent hair removal and is open to anyone who wants unwanted hair resolved. The office describes itself as a safe, warm space and is transgender friendly.

Electrolysis works by placing a fine probe into each follicle and applying heat or an electrical current to destroy it, after which the hair is removed with tweezers. Several sessions are usually needed, and hair density or hormonal influences can mean more. Pricing depends on the time each client needs, and a plan is put together with the client around their goals. A consultation is recommended for an estimate.

Before a session, clients are asked to avoid tanning or sun on the treated area for 48 hours and to skip waxing, tweezing and depilatory creams for two to three weeks, shaving instead. Caffeine should be avoided for at least four hours beforehand. Afterward, clients avoid direct sun for 48 hours, wear SPF 30 outdoors, and avoid hot showers, saunas and heat for one to two days. Between treatments, shaving is preferred over tweezing, waxing or depilatories.

Booking is available online or by calling or texting 615-307-0890. The office is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Cancellations or changes are requested at least 48 hours ahead. A change within 24 hours carries a 50% fee, and cancelling right before the start time or not showing up is charged the full appointment cost, though fees may be waived in emergencies at the business's discretion. The business reserves the right to decline service.
