The studio is open-concept, with a reception area where guests can pick a coffee, tea, latte or hot chocolate, or take a soft drink or sparkling beverage from the cooler. Filtered water comes from a four-stage filtration system, and snacks are set out at reception. Color work happens at an open color bar and a color table lit by a Nelson Saucer Bubble light, and processing takes place in wishbone chairs with wall-mounted processors. Payment is card or tap only, with receipts emailed.

Color is mixed with Redken products. Keratin Complex smoothing is meant to shorten blow-dry time, reduce frizz and soften the natural curl pattern. i-Straight thermal straightening removes curl and reduces frizz, priced per service or by the hour with a three-hour minimum.

Guests can join the free HD2 VIP program for product discounts, and HD2 Rewards members earn points on services and retail that can be used toward retail purchases. Referrals through HD2 20/20 give both the referrer and the new guest a credit toward any hair service. Tips can be left in cash with the designer or sent directly to the designer through the Tippy System.
