Hidden Gem Spa opened in 2018 as a single room focused only on skincare. It moved to its West Concord home at 1260 Main Street in 2022, when the team grew. The spa describes itself as a beloved Concord spa, and its stated aim is to make self-care accessible and affordable all year, not only as an occasional treat.

About

A visit usually begins with time spent on what the client needs, and the team builds a personalized service plan from there. The spa says its licensed professionals tailor each service to the client. Facial massage depends on length: a 60-minute facial adds face, neck, shoulder, scalp and hand massage, and a 90-minute facial adds a longer back and shoulder massage. Clients who are unsure which facial suits them can ask an esthetician on arrival, and peel clients can leave a note at booking if they are unsure which peel to choose.

The facial menu runs from spa facials, priced at $55 for 30 minutes, $85 for 60 and $139 for 90, to advanced facials at $65, $95 and $149 for the same lengths. Luxury facials pair treatments such as hydrodermabrasion, ultrasonic cleansing, microdermabrasion and oxygen with LED, radio-frequency, hot stone or hydrojelly masks. Time to Escape is a customized facial with a singing bowl, hot stone, CBD hydrojelly mask and essential oil, followed by a back massage. Peels include the PCA Peel, the Signature Face Lift Peel and the Wrinkle Peel. A 30-minute peel is $109 and includes an aftercare kit, and dermaplaning can be added to a peel for $129 total for a 50-minute visit. Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is $279 per treatment with a home aftercare kit, and a consultation is required first. The spa recommends 3 to 6 sessions and offers 10% off a set of three and 20% off a set of six.

Beyond the face, the spa offers back and body treatments, hair services, color, lash extensions, brow and lash tinting, waxing and makeup. Luxury Spa Cuts run 45 to 60 minutes and include a consultation, an essential oil choice, a hot towel, shampoo, cut and blow dry. Hair coloring includes a complimentary consultation with the stylist. First-time lash extensions can take 2.5 to 3 hours, and touch-ups are booked within 2 to 3 weeks. The spa works with both hard and strip wax. Makeup services cover prom, special event and bridal looks, airbrush makeup and false lash application.

Clients can book online and buy gift cards on the website. The spa asks for 24 hours notice to cancel. Cancelling with less notice requires paying 50% of the reserved services to keep booking future appointments. Two hours of free street parking is available in front of the building, and there is parking in the lot at the back. The spa is open Monday through Saturday, with Sunday visits by appointment.
