Herstylez Hair Studio was founded by LaToya, who also owns and runs it.

The studio is run as a professional environment. The aim is to help women feel comfortable with their natural hair and to give each client the knowledge to care for it over time.

Booking works on a deposit system. Each appointment requires a 15% non-refundable deposit paid at booking, and microloc clients pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. The calendar opens one month at a time, and clients who cannot get their preferred date can join a waitlist. Products are sold through the website shop.
