The salon describes itself as Kansas City's premier beauty salon. Janae places a high priority on long-term relationships with her clients, and the menu covers color, highlights, keratin and perm services, and styling appointments.
New clients start by submitting an appointment request online. A request is not booked until the stylist confirms it by phone or email. Existing clients schedule their next visit by contacting Janae directly. Hours are Monday 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 5 PM and Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM.
The salon is located inside My Salon Suites at 1560 N. Church Road, close to Interstate 35 and Highway 291, also known as NE Cookingham Drive. The online shop carries hair care and styling tools from several brands, including Kevin Murphy, MOROCCANOIL and USmooth.
Janae keeps up with salon trends and brings in new techniques aimed at healthy hair.
