Hair removal is done with wax or sugar, and the salon welcomes women and men with all skin and hair types. Its estheticians are described as skilled in Brazilian waxing, Brazilian sugaring, and bikini and full body waxing. The site labels Brazilian, underarms, brows, full legs, Brazilian enzyme treatment and full bikini as its most popular services. Beyond hair removal, the Alamo Ranch location offers Brazilian enzyme treatment, intimate lightening, facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, lash and brow services, and laser hair removal.

Appointments generally run 15 to 30 minutes, with the length depending on the service and the area treated. Clients are asked to let hair grow to around two to three weeks' worth before waxing or sugaring. Sessions are typically booked every four to six weeks, and the salon says results usually hold for three to four weeks. The salon also says that regular visits can lead to finer, slower regrowth. Memberships are billed monthly and include one service per month of the selected type and area, with a new voucher each month that rolls over if unused. They can be cancelled at any time without a cancellation fee, and the salon says members save up to 20% on services. Memberships can be used at any Hello Sugar location, subject to availability, and can be signed up for online or during an appointment.

The salon works with four different waxes and sugars and selects among them for each client. Sugaring uses a natural sugar paste that adheres mainly to hair rather than skin, which the salon positions for sensitive skin.
