Waxing and sugaring form the core of the menu for women and men. Clients can choose from four different waxes and sugars, and the salon says it selects among them for each client. Sugaring uses a natural sugar paste that removes hair while exfoliating the skin, while waxing uses warm wax. Estheticians complete a three-month program to become certified in the salon's sugaring technique, plus an advanced certification focused on pain-reduction techniques, and the salon says their training goes beyond aesthetics school. Brazilian (V) starts at $58 and includes everything in the full bikini service plus the labia, while Brazilian (P) starts at $70 and removes hair from the shaft and scrotum. Full legs start at $76, and arm, back, chest and bikini services are priced by area.

Beyond hair removal, the salon offers lash lifts, lash tints, brow tints, brow shaping and brow lamination, which the salon says hold for six to eight weeks. Enzyme and brightening treatments use gentle enzymes and brighteners on delicate areas. The underarm enzyme treatment starts at $20, and the Brazilian enzyme treatment starts at $35 and includes cleansing, enzymatic exfoliation, extractions and a hydrating mask. Intimate lightening, an accelerated brightening service for sensitive areas, starts at $65. Laser hair removal and facials are offered at some locations.

A visit is usually short, with most appointments taking 15 to 30 minutes depending on the service and area. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice, typically two to three weeks of growth, before a wax or sugar. Waxing and sugaring are usually booked every four to six weeks, and results typically last three to four weeks. The salon says that with consistent treatments, hair tends to grow back finer and slower over time. Beard hair is too coarse for these treatments. Memberships cover one service per month in a chosen service area and type, for waxing, sugaring or laser. According to the salon, members save up to 20% on services. Memberships are billed monthly, can be frozen or cancelled at any time with no fee, and can be used at any Hello Sugar location, subject to service and appointment availability. They can be signed up for online or during an appointment.
