The four Charlotte locations are Noda on Davidson Street, UpTown on East Brooklyn Village Avenue, Perimeter Woods on Perimeter Parkway and Rea Farms on Sandy Rock Place. Each has its own text line: Noda (704) 594-3125, UpTown (704) 594-3991, Perimeter Woods (704) 594-3124 and Rea Farms (704) 594-3901. Questions or concerns can be texted to the Perimeter Woods line to reach a receptionist. Noda is closed on Mondays and open the rest of the week with shorter hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Perimeter Woods is open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Each appointment typically runs 15 to 30 minutes, with the exact time depending on the service and the area treated. Ahead of a visit, clients need hair grown out to about a grain of rice in length, which generally takes two to three weeks. Waxing and sugaring usually keep skin smooth for three to four weeks, though regrowth speed affects this. According to the salon, clients with sensitive skin often choose sugaring, since its paste grips mostly the hair itself. The salon also says both waxing and sugaring suit fine and coarse hair, but it notes that men's beard hair may be too coarse for either treatment.

Memberships are billed monthly and cover one service of the chosen type and area each month, with an unused monthly voucher rolling over. Members save up to 20% on services and can freeze or cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. A membership can be used at any Hello Sugar location, depending on availability. The Hello Sugar app is available on the App Store and Google Play, and the website links to a cancellation and no-show policy.

Beyond hair removal, Hello Sugar offers brow and lash services. Brow tinting, brow shaping with tint, and brow lamination are offered, and brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that temporarily adjusts the natural brow pattern. Lash tints last two to four weeks, and the lash lift is a semi-permanent lift that does not use extensions. The salon says lash and brow results last six to eight weeks. At Noda and Perimeter Woods, enzyme and brightening treatments, facials, chemical peels, microneedling and dermaplaning are also available. The salon says its aestheticians' training goes beyond aesthetics school.

Services are customized to each client's skin and hair, and the wax or sugar is chosen from four options for each visit.
