Hello Edges Salon is owned by Amber Rey, a licensed cosmetologist who has been doing nails for more than twenty years and hair since 2019. The salon brings brows, hair, nails and pedicures together under one roof on Moore Lane in Montgomery.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM. The salon is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.

New clients are asked for a deposit before color services: $25 for all-over color, color retouch, partial highlights or lowlights, highlight or lowlight retouch, and toner or gloss treatments, and $50 for full highlights or lowlights, all-over lightener, and updo or formal styles. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead incur a 30% fee, no-shows are charged the full service price, and arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment and charges the full booked service.

For formal occasions, updo and formal styles can be planned with a consultation at least 14 days before the event, and trial runs are also held at least 14 days out. Weddings and formal events can be reserved with a $150 down payment that holds the date for 24 hours; that payment is not applied to the final bill or to travel.

Clients are walked through the products used, and a plan is built around their nail and hair goals.
