Waxing, lash and brow tinting, and a range of skin care treatments round out the offerings.

The Acne Facial runs 90 minutes and starts with a skin analysis, followed by deep pore cleansing, steam, blackhead extractions, high frequency, a custom mask, and a moisturizer and mineral sunscreen to finish. Helen's Signature Facial, also 90 minutes, is designed for every skin type and combines steam, deep cleansing, enzyme exfoliation, a custom mask, and a massage of the face, neck, shoulders and hands. The Peel Transformation Facial, 90 minutes as well, uses enzyme and glycolic peels followed by a refining moisturizing cream, and is aimed at aging and sun-damaged skin. Microdermabrasion is a 90-minute facial in which fine crystals lift away the outer layer of skin, and no numbing cream is needed.

Waxing is done with soft wax, and the salon uses professional-grade products and sanitation standards for every service. The salon describes its waxing as quick and virtually pain-free, and says results can last about two to eight weeks, which varies from person to person. Waxing is not done on sunburned skin, shortly after a recent laser peel, while using alphahydroxy acids or Retin-A (currently or within the past month), or while on Accutane (currently or within the past three months). The waxing menu covers the arms, legs, back, underarms, stomach, bikini, Brazilian, face, lip, chin and eyebrows.

Appointments are required. Clients book by calling or texting Helen directly at 818-312-4797. Parking is free in the salon's lot. Payment is accepted by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, and gratuities are not included in treatment prices. Unopened products can be returned within 7 days with a receipt for store credit only, and gift cards are available in most amounts and can be used for any product or service.

The work is built around personalized skin care, and the salon says it partners only with top-tier product manufacturers.
