Heart & Co. Beauty opened in 2017 in Tukwila and serves clients from across the greater Seattle area. It was started by co-founders Cherry Borbon and Jane Apsay, who both work as stylists at the salon alongside independent stylist Kristin Frederick.
Each stylist runs their own book. Clients book online with the individual stylist they want, and questions about a stylist's own services go to that stylist directly. The salon describes its setting as comfortable and contemporary, and says it aims to give guests a memorable visit with a fresh approach to beauty services.
The haircut menu covers men's cuts, women's cuts and haircuts for children under 10. Each cut includes a shampoo, the cut itself and a blow-dry style. The color menu runs from single process and partial or full foil highlights to ombre ends and hand-painted balayage. Rainbow and corrective color is handled by consultation only, so those services are quoted after a conversation with the stylist.
Gift cards are available from Cherry or Jane. Accessories are final sale. Retail products can be returned for a full refund within two weeks of purchase. Items that show obvious use, are not in original condition, or are damaged or missing parts for reasons other than the salon's error are eligible only for a partial refund.
