Healing Waters SalonSpa was started by founder Jessica Solie, who first imagined the salon while studying massage therapy. The salon now operates from its own building in the Lake Minnetonka area and aims to be a single place for wellness: hair, skin, body and massage services under one roof.

The menu is broad. On the hair side, there are haircuts and styles, color (including balayage and foiliage, which combines balayage with custom foil placement), chemical services and perms, and Keratin Tip extension installation and removal. On the skin side, there are advanced treatments such as microcurrent facials, dermaplaning and several chemical peels, plus LED light therapy add-ons, signature facials and a range of facial and body waxing. Massage, reflexology, myofascial release and Reiki sessions are also offered, and lash tinting, lash lifts, brow tinting and brow lamination round out the list.

A visit typically includes a little extra comfort. Hair services include scalp and hand massage, hot stones and a warm eye pillow during shampoo, and a warm back wrap with a snack and a drink. Facials include aromatherapy, a customized massage and warm towels for the feet.

Color is mixed in an open-concept space where stylists prepare and cross-check formulas, and the salon says a second expert look is given to each formula before it reaches the client's hair. Each color service includes a set amount of product, with extra color charged separately. Guests who are expecting should add a note in the booking comments so the team can provide suitable support. New Myofascial Release clients pay an added fee that covers a 30-minute assessment before and after the session.
